WFD1KW is built on the same platform as the WFD750W, it has a 2.5 m diameter rotor optimized for low and medium speed winds. It incorporated a charge controller with dump load which slows the turbine down in high winds, reducing noise and mounting system loads.
Battery charge
The WFD1KW is designed for charging high capacity 36/48V DC battery systems and must be installed in conjunction with the HD-1000W regulator which includes the regulator; The dump load; Rectifier; Fuses; And heat sinks. Loads can be either 36 or 48 V DC equipment or a stand-alone sine wave inverter can be used to power 115V or 230V AC equipment
WFD1KW is especially designed to meet the demand from individual householders for a renewable energy source.
