Hunan Sunny Hydropower Equipment Corporation (hereinafter abbreviated as "SHPE") was launched by Sundo Technology (HK) Limited in 2004, taking over Hunan Xinning Hydropower Equipment Factory which was established in 1958. The former factory has more than four decades of professional experience in manufacturing hydropower equipment and was one of the leading manufacturers supplying hydropower equipment internationally. This factory was authorized by Ministry of Machine-Building Industry of China. Its Turbine and Generator were selected by China Government to be exhibited in HANNOVER MESSE in 1981.

SHPE is capable of supplying various types of hydro generating sets with the unit capacity below 50MW along with electric & control equipment. While enjoying abundant reputation domestically, SHPE has supplied products to customers all over the world including but not limited to Kazakhstan, Russia, India, Nepal, Indonesia, Pakistan, Burma, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Peru and Chile. SHPE is located in Xinning of Hunan Province which is nearby the Danxia Topography for World Natural Heritage - Langshan Mountain.

Since 2004, Top Standard Enterprise Management Concepts from HK Management Field has been significantly introduced to SHPE. SHPE has gradually implemented scientific management means, such as PDCA Cycle (Continuous Improvement Spiral), 6S Theory and BPR (Business Process Reengineering). SHPE has been devoted to establishing teamwork under the principle of "Learning Spirit, Innovation, Talent Reserve and Aggressiveness". The technical development and product creativeness will be enforced as SHPE has combined technical strength with the good cooperation between SHPE and China Institute of Water Resources Hydropower Research as well as Huazhong University of Science & Technology (HUST).

By virtue of abundant technical strength and long-term experience, SHPE is able to provide customers from all over the world with comprehensive technical consulting service. SHPE is the first enterprise in China's Hydro Industry to initiate two years of DLP and Regular Customer Return Visit. Meanwhile, SHPE, as the manufacturer of Electric & Mechanical equipment for hydro power plants, has a long lasting tradition in maintenance and refurbishment of wearing-out equipment and low efficient plants. Generally speaking, refurbishment that done by SHPE may result in the increase of reliability, the increase of power generation of electric energy, the increase of static and dynamic stability and the increase of efficiency.
