Up to now the biggest oxygen-enriched air membrane units in China have been installed and running successfully in hot blast stove for the Ironmaking Plant of Jinan. The flow rate of OEA is about 8000Nm3/h with the oxygen concentration of 30%. Experiments show that when the oxygen content of air can be increased to 24%, the blast temperature is increased by about 40centigrade. Consequently the client can gain higher yield and higher economical profit.
