Wide Scope of Usage
 
Shale gas is exploited from shale bed, its main part is located in dark mud shale or high carbon clay shale, it is a kind of natural gas which absorbs to or dissociates in mud stone, high carbon mudstone, shale and silt shale, etc. Its main content is alkane. Among its compositions, the majority is methane, ethane, propane and butane takes a little proportion, it also contains H2S, CO2, N2, aqueous vapour and small amount of inert gas, such as He and Ne, etc. Besides, there are many by-products in the process of refining oil from oil shale, the exhaust gas can be used as gas fuel like coal gas.
