As the largest designer and manufacturer in electric transmission of locomotive, traction motors and control devices developed and manufactured by the Factory had been equipped respectively on more than 2/3 and 1/3 of the total diesel locomotives in China. In 2006, the marked share in diesel and electric locomotive in China near 80% and 40% respectively. At the same time the factory has become the principal supplier of drilling motors for oil drilling and wind generator in China. Up to now, the products made in the company have covered as many as 300 series, 600 varieties and 2200 models. The annual capacity of the company has reached as many as 20, 000 motors and 2000 sets of converters.
