Tubular turbine is widely used in hydropower station with low head and large discharge. This kind of tubular turbine generally uses the head of 2-20 meters. It has excellent hydraulic performance, and has larger water flow and higher hydraulic efficiency comparing with Kaplan turbine. I also solves many problems occurring in bulb turbine because the generator is placed inside the bulb, therefore has advantages of compact structure and convenient installation and maintenance.
