HTA series Belt Filter Press or Belt Press is our economical solution for sludge dewatering in small sewage treatment plants. It is a solid/liquid separation machine broadly applicable for sludge dewatering especially in the chemical, mining, paper, textile and municipal wastewater treatment.
Sludge with a solid content of 0.5% - 5% will first be flocculated by the flocculation unit, and pre-dewatered by the sludge thickener to reduce up to 90% volume with a solid content usually 3% - 9%, and further dried by the belt filter press to achieve the final solid content about 15% - 40%.
