Series 12VB diesel engines are high-speed, heaving-duty engines which have widely applications and good performance. In 1986, model 12VB won China national gold medal while in 1994, it has won the title of National User Satisfaction Products. Years of development and constantly adopting the advanced technical and economic data, compact structure, easy to start, easy for operation and maintenance and also widely applicable even under severe conditions.
Series 12VB diesel generating sets are motivated by series 12VB diesel engine and equipped with high quality generator form domestic and abroad. The power range of it is from 500 to 800kW. Two or more than two of these generating sets can be combined to a power station.
Jinan Diesel Engine Co., Ltd(JDEC) was found in 1920, and it is the only internal-combustion engine manufacturing enterprise belonging to China National Petroleum Corporation(CNPC). It is also the main manufacture of off-highway medium&large power engine in China. At present, it covers area 600, 000m2 and has more than 2000 employees. The total asset is more than 2400million. In 1995, JDEC got the CCS(China Classification Society) ISO 9001Quality System Approvl.
The main products named Jichai include diesel engines, diesel gensets, gas engine and gas gensets. These are widely used for oil field, railyway, metallurgy, petrifaction, navy vessels, fishing vessels, normal power supply and spare power, etc. They are not only sold well in 30 domestic provinces and regions but exported to more than 40 countries, Indonesia, Thailand, Kampuchea, Vietnam, Bangal, Lazakstan, Iran, Tunisia, Sudan, etc.
JDEC owns international advanced machining center, products testing center, physical & chemical test center and measuring center.

1). Series 2000, 3000, 601 land diesel engines and packaged sets with power 200---1740KW.
2). In-line 4/6/8 cylinders, and V type 8/12 cylinders marine diesel engines and packaged sets with power 180---1100KW.
3). Gas(natural gas, landfill gas, coke--oven gas, bio--gas, etc)engines and packaged sets with 30--1100KW.
