Who We Are
OmniMotor (Changsha Qidian in Chinese ) was founded in 1957. We are well known as one of the top manufacturers of automotive electrical products, primarily being engaged in producing Automotive and Truck Starters and Alternators in China.
OmniMotor currently employ more than 350 people in a 300, 000 square foot facility (30000-square-meter) at our headquarters. As we have grown, OmniMotor has built three wholly-owned subsidiaries, including one, set up as a joint Sino-Japanese venture( Changsha Hitachi ) in 1995.

History
In 1957, OmniMotorwas founded as the first professional manufacturer of auto electric, specially producing Auto Alternators and starters in China.
In 1961, OmniMotor set up the Auto Electrical Equipment Research Center.
In 1985, OmniMotor implemented the program under Bosch technology that includes key equipment and software to meet the demands of our Auto-Electric Research and Testing facility to meet the demands of the German market and Bosch technologies.
In 1990, OmniMotor become a major supplier of Shanghai Santana, FAWAudi, Jettea, Nanjing Iveco and Chongqing Cummins.
In 1995, OmniMotor set up the Sino-Japanese joint venture (Changsha Hitachi).
In 1997, OmniMotor reached the ISO9001 Quality Certification.
In 1999, OmniMotor reached an agreement with Bosch (Germany) for "Technical Assistance" and "Production Licenses".
In 2000, OmniMotor reached VDA6.1/QS9000 Quality System certification.
In 2001, OmniMotor reached the National Laboratory Accreditation Certification.
In 2003, OmniMotor reached additional agreements on newer technologies and some know-how cooperation with Bosch(Germany). At the same year, OmniMotor reached IS014000 Environment System Certification.
In 2004, OmniMotor reached IS0/TS16949: 2002 Quality Assurance System Certification.
In 2004, OmniMotor got the priority right to supply the components to Bosch Automotive Products (Changsha), and started to export Auto Alternators and Starters to overseas.
In 2005, OmniMotor invested to build up the new production base in Changsha economic and technological development zone.
In 2006, OmniMotor moved to the new production base center, and updated the all products lines with advanced equipments.
In 2008, OmniMotor set up the first Overseas Office in USA in order to make better communication and much effective service to our customers in North America.
