System overview
GTG8000 Intelligent type low voltage units integrated system,widely absorbing advanced experience of similar products at home and abroad, combined with advanced computer technology, sensor technology, communication technology, PLC control technology,protection and control principle to develop a new generation popular products of high integration, high reliability, high cost-effective for low voltage generator set in rural small hydropower stations.

This system is low voltage units ten for one system, the collection system with units power measurement, generator protection, sequence control, simultaneous closing, electricity metering, excitation control, temperature inspection, speed monitoring, isolating switch and outlet circuit breaker as a whole, with all the functions of units operation control, power measurement, simultaneous control, microcomputer protection, excitation control and the electricity metering needed by low voltage turbine-generator set, suitable for single capacity of 800 kw (voltage 400, frequency 50 Hz) and the following of hydro-generator units.

This system according to the size of the generator capacity is divided into integrated cabinet system and split screen cabinet system, for single capacity of 800 kw and the following gensets adopt integrated cabinet system, all equipments  installed in a cabinet, cabinet body size is 800 X800X2260mm.Single unit capacity of higher than 800 kw adopt the struction of 2 cabinets, cabinet body size is 800 X600X2260mm.

This system can be with my company production of hydropower station public LCU, forebay water level LCU, booster station monitoring protection equipment, video monitoring system, remote control system and hydropower station water regime telemetry system etc to comprise the complete unattended hydropower station control system, each subsystem can either used alone and also can combine an system.

System function
The system has the following functions:
1. Take the initiative to start/ stop hydroelectric generating set
2. Automatic quasi-synchronizing closing
3. Automatic loading after connection
4. Water level running after interconnection, according to the height of water level to adjust generator output automatically.
5. Multi-units operation scheduling automatically: according to the rated power, the efficiency curve, water regime, can automatically match and select units to start or stop, allocating units power, to make the rational operation of units, maximize energy
generation of per unit water amount and the mininal power loss of units operation.
6. Automatic reset excitation, follow the net voltage automatically, automatic power factor.
7. Speed protection, high and low voltage, and high-low cycle delay protection
8. overload ,overcurrent protection
9. The opening time protection
10. Unique patented technology, rotor wireless temperature measurement
11. Three-phase voltage, current power, power factor measurement, display, protection, phase sequence detection, phase loss protection
12. Excitation voltage/current measurement (over-excitation protection)
13. Time, the accident record and recall, don't need to check the code, directly display in Chinese
14. Single unit to the isolated net running
15. Can be connected to the remote control system of the company, the realization of long distance remote monitoring
