Hydraulic turbine regulators are of two main classes, namely, power and frequency regulating devices. These regulating devices are produced according to the international and national standards of regulating capacity and include eight kinds as: 3, 000; 1, 800; 1, 000; 600; 300; 150; 75 and 35 kg-m. Governors for medium and small- hydro turbines are classified according to their capacities. There are four models for the mini sized, such as TT-35, TT-75, TT-150 and TT-300, which are of the electro-hydraulic type, and their hydraulic pressures are derived directly from oil pumps. There are three models for the small-sized such as YT-300, YT-600 and YT-1000, which are also of the electro-hydraulic type with pressurized oil tanks.
