The principle of salt chlorinator disinfection
The  swimming pool water with 3000~6000 ppm concentration will be electrolyzed under the safe voltage, the chlorine generated will do the job of sterilization.

When the water pass through the electrolyzer after purifier ,the active chlorine will be generated which has a strong disinfection, and by its high purity and high efficiency with moderate concentration, it has excellent performance on oxidation, virus ,contaminants and seaweed removal. And will become chlorine compound after disinfection, which will be second-electrolysis into active chlorine in the electrolyzer again. And this circulation will self running together with your water circulation

The water is disinfected by the sodium hypochlorite which generated by the electrolysis of salt water. Sodium hypochlorite, as a disinfectant of the chlorine family, has a great performance on killing bacteria, virus and algae by its strong oxidizability,  so it is ideal for swimming pool disinfection and general water treatment.

The human body physiology saline is 4000ppm concentration, the lenses nursing liquid is 6000ppm (Potassium chloride), the infusion of physiology in hospital is 9000ppm, which proved that the salt concentration in swimming pool (4000~6000ppm) is balance with human body;

The production, packing, transportation and storage of chemical disinfectant are no longer needed, not to mention the treatment for those disinfectant before dosing and the irritant to skin.

Low running cost
The whole system is fully automatic and requires very little maintenance, reducing your pool technicians work load.
The residual of chlorine for a standard size pool (50m*25m*1.8m) , at least 0.3mg/L according to WHO (World Heath Organization), 16 hours open per day, then only cost 14.4KG salt and 19.2KW electricity for our machine. (The actual cost would be much lower as when the residual chlorine reach 0.3mg/L, the machine will automatically reduce the chlorine output, just remain at 0.3mg/L according to the singal of "residual chlorine meter")

The machine take place in a closed loop system and running automatically, Pool technicians will no longer have to mix or hand dose chlorine again, only salt is needed to be pull into the dissolving tank from time to time. Besides, the storage of chemicals will no longer be required in the stores or plant room making the whole place safer for both guests and employees.

With the System installed on your pools you will no longer see the water go cloudy during busy periods which happens with traditional dosing systems when they can not keep pace with the chlorine demand of the pool. The machine is sized to keep the pool water in perfect condition during the hottest and busiest periods. The slightly saline solution in the pool is similar to the natural salinity of our eyes. Contact lens solution is a similar salinity, hence most people find swimming in this environment far more pleasant than fresh water.

Accurate output of chlorine
The solution is constantly dosed into the pool, controled by the PLC center, which receive the singal from "residual chlorine detector".  A maintain of 0.3mg/L chlorine is the lowest requirement of WHO, it can be set by your requirement, say 0.5mg/L. And this are all controled by the intellegent PLC center.  In addition, the modularity of the system allows extra capacity to be added if required.

Reliable smart PLC control system
The system is controlled by a PLC. This will provide for more reliable and flexible control of chlorine, pH, as well as interlocking the equipment with sensors to provide for all safety requirements of the system. The PLC is more reliable and flexible than typical dosing control systems. The system is designed to maintain a constant disinfection 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

What does chlorine do?
 
Chlorine is a biocide and is toxic to microorganisms via oxidation reactions within them. Chlorine disturbs the production of ATP (adenosine triphosphate), an essential compound for the respiration of microorganisms, such as bacteria and virus, thereby killing them. It does not purify or clean the water by removing debris; it just kills it so that the stuff doesn't grow or breed. In 1908, chlorine was used for the first time as a primary disinfectant of drinking water in Jersey City, New Jersey, and chlorine water saved thousands of lives in World War I when it was used to wash wounds.
 
What is sodium hypochlorite?
 
Sodium Hypochlorite is a member of the chlorine family of disinfectants. Sodium Hypochlorite is a chemical compound made up of the elements: sodium, oxygen, and chlorine and is formed from salt and water.
 
What does hypochlorite do?
 
Sodium Hypochlorite is a disinfectantin other words, it kills organisms such as bacteria and viruses and also aquatic life forms, i.e. mussels, algae, etc. It does not purify or clean the water by removing debris; it just kills it so that the stuff doesn't grow or breed. On one project, Electrichlor was called upon to commission it's system prior to project water flow in order to prevent any microbially-induced corrosion (MIC) from attacking the steel piping.
 
Can water be purified with it?
 
No, it can only be sterilized. The matter is not removed as it would be by filtration or reverse osmosis.
 
Can I drink it?
Yes, you probably have been drinking it all of your life as the "Safe Drinking Water Act" (SDWA) requires disinfecting all drinking water. It has been adopted in the United States and also many other countries around the world. It has prevented many diseases and outbreaks of typhoid, dysentery and cholera epidemics. However, there are limits to the amount of chlorine that is safe to drink. The USEPA requires a public water system maintain a residual of 1mg/l throughout its service lines. If you have felt ill after you drank more than your share of swimming pool water in a day's time, you probably ingested much more than 10 mg/l of chlorine as well as all the dead matter in the water as well (we won't name those things but we're sure you could remember some of them).
 
Can I make bleach like the ones in the store?
 
No, the bleach in a bottle is often 3.5%-5.5%. The process to make that is totally different than our process.
 
Is this hypochlorite hazardous?
 
No, our technology limits the concentration to less than 1%, and that's a good thing as EPA says that concentrations of bleach are hazardous above 1%.
 
How much does it take to disinfect seawater?
 
The quality of water found in the open ocean is quite good and so disinfecting the water would only take a few milligrams per liter (mg/l) or parts per million (ppm). At the opposite end would be some of the harbor waters found near industrial centers can take upwards of 10 mg/l. Offshore platforms operated by PEMEX in the gulf of Mexico have a standard dosing of 2.8 mg/l.
 
What do I need in order to make hypochlorite?
 
Salt is the basic ingredient required to make hypochlorite. The oceans vary from around 2% to slightly more than 4% with 3.5% being the average. We have units operating around the world where the salt level is at both ends of the spectrum.
 
How much power is needed to produce hypochlorite?
 
While there are several factors that come into play here, the power required is less than 4.5 kW of power for every kilogram of chlorine isolated as sodium hypochlorite. This term is used because the unit of measure is for the chlorine ion. So, when comparing other forms of chlorine, one must make the other forms equal chlorine values. For example, 13% bleach must be multiplied by a factor of about 7.7 to equal 100% chlorine availability.
 
How long will hypochlorite last?
 
Hypochlorite is in the halogen family and has an extremely strong negative charge. It wants to combine with positively charged particles, such as sodium, and will do so when a metal, such as sodium, or organic matter, is available. Sodium hypochlorite is not a stable compound and will begin to revert back into salt water in a sliding scale starting with less than an hour in a 0.8% concentration to several months in a 0.15% concentration.
 
How is the hypochlorite used?
 
The primary use of the hypochlorite manufactured by electrolysis is for disinfection. However, it is sometimes used to combine with other chemicals to make a more stable, non-reactive compound.
 
What kind of piping do I need?
 
PVC piping and fittings are recommended as they are not affected by hypochlorite or acid used for cleaning purposes. PVC, CPVC, Polypropylene, Polyethylene are all suitable for hypochlorite.
 
What are the bubbles in the solution?
 
The bubbles that form in the electrolytic cells are hydrogen gas that have collected at the cathode. It is a byproduct of the process but is not produced in sufficient quantity to be commercially attractive. In other words, the "strain is not worth the gain".
