MECHANICAL FEATURES (ALTERNATOR):
FRAME:
The frame is made by steel plate. All industrial standard generators is IP21 ( NEMA1), also IP 23 is an option, But rated power will decrease 5%.
SHAFT AND KEY:
All generator rotors are dynamically balanced to better than BS6861: Part Grade2.5 for minimum vibration operation. Two bearing generators are balanced with a half key.
TERMINALS AND TURMINAL BOX:
Standard generators are 3-phase reconnect able with 12 ends brought out to the terminals, which are mounted on a cover at the non-drive end of the generator. A sheet steel terminal box contains the AVR and provides ample space for the customers wiring and gland arrangements. It has removable panels for easy access.
ENGINE ADAPTOR COUPLING:
All generators have two kinds construction. The single-bearing generators engine adaptor to SAE0, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, the coupling discs to SAE7.5, 8, 10, 11.5, 14 and 18 are available.
The double-bearing generators adaptor to SAE0, 2, 3, 4 and 5 are available.
